Why are there more and more discussion-type questions in exams?? Check this article out
A lot of my students struggle to get marks for these questions. They have the knowledge, but can't get enough marks for what they know, and struggle with the structure.
If you struggle to get marks in exams for these questions (for any subject), this can help you.
This is a 2 hour course, and I'll cover the following:
- Why do they ask 'discussion' questions?
- Why do we struggle with them?
- How do we study for them?
- What types of discussion questions are there, and what's the difference?
- How do we get marks with our limited knowledge?
- What does it mean to 'plan an answer'?
- How do we make sure we give the right amount of detail in the answer?
- How do we mark ourselves and 'fix' our answers when we're studying? How do we 'learn' from our questions without having a lecturer help us?
